Mangalore : Former Union Minister B Janardhan Poojary said that Gokarnanatheshwara Temple will hold ‘Urulu Seve’ on January 1, 2013 to protest against the inhuman rituals of Made Madesnana.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Dec 25, Tuesday he said that during the occasion, the temple administration will honour one schedule caste women and allow her to do a padapooja to a deity. This is done to symbolize that all the caste, religion and status are equal in front of god and women because, this is the country which respects mother who is a life giver.
Speaking on the Deputy Chief Minister K S Eshwarappa’s issue, Poojary said that the Lokayukta officials had raided Eshwarappa’s house and seized Rs 10.9 lakh in cash, 1.9 kg of gold and 37 kg of silver and other valuables. Hence he must resign from his post and allow fair investigation for the prima facie case as ordered by the court.
He also said that the same BJP government and high command had asked former Chief Minister Yeddyurappa’s resignation for his involvement in the corruption case, likewise the high command must ask Eshwarappa’s resignation too.
Poojary said that Eshwarappa came up in the party only after delivering the speech against Congress. If he does not agree to give the resignation, then governor must dismiss him from the post within 24 hours. It is shame to his post after Police have registered an FIR against him.
The BJP is fooling the people of the state by forming another party in the name of KJP. The KJP will not look as different party, since all the BJP leaders are there in KJP and after election both parties will come together.
Poojary said that KJP is a Congress B party, but congress will never entertain such persons and take support from it.
Commenting on the writer and critic Ananth Moorthy, Poojary said that he has hurt the feeling of many of his followers by joining the KJP.
BJP is RSS and RSS is BJP and both are controlled from Kalladka by chief Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat and he will decide the victory and defeat of the election, he said.
Yeddurappa is planning to bring Modi to Karnataka to campaign for election for KJP party and people of Karnataka are not fools to follow him. Modi speeches in Karnataka cannot change anything, he said.
Congress Leaders, Kallige Taranath Shetty, Suresh Ballal, Mohammed Badruddin and Arun Coelho were present at the press meet.
