Dubai :  Alva’s Vishwa Nudisiri Virasat 2013  will be held at Dubai on January 31 and at Abudhabi on February 1 with the inaugural of the UAE unit of Alva’s Nudisiri, thereby giving a splendid opportunity to even the Indians residing in the Gulf to witness the grand cultural spectacle which has already won hearts in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
Around 80 talented students from Alva’s institutions will perform in Abu Dhabi and Dubai under the aegis of Alva’s Education Foundation led by Dr M Mohan Alva.

The various programmes include the Purlia Lion Dance of West Bengal , drama ‘Deva Vridharau,’ directed by Jeevanram Sullia,  Maharashtra Lavani dance, ‘Hanuma Oddolaga,’ a Tenkutittu Yakshagana among others.

 The  function will be inaugurated by MK Lokesh, Indian ambassador to UAE. Dr BR Shetty, Managing Director of UAE Exchange, will be the chief guest.
