Mangalore: Karnataka Speaker KG Bopaiah who was much in the news in the recent past, with none knowing about his whereabouts, ever since he was absent in his office when rebel BJPs had been to his office to tender his resignation, was spotted at the Mangalore Airport at around 7.30 pm on January 25, Friday.
Bopaiah arrived by a flight from Mumbai and refused to speak to the media men who had gathered there and left by a private car along with two persons. Even the district administration had no news regarding his arrival and hence no security had been provided for the Speaker. It is not known where the Speaker headed to. A JD(S) leader who too had travelled by the same flight said the speaker who was seated on the VIP seat spoke to none.
Though it was initially suspected that the speaker was in Nepal, now, the speculation is that he had arrived to Mumbai from Nepal and from there to Mangalore.
