Kasargod : Four members of a family hailing from Koodlu near Kasargod were found dead inside an Alto car , nearly 15 kms away from their house at Mahipady on January 29, Tuesday. The cause of the death is not yet clear.

The deceased are    are Soni Kutti (46), his wife Theresiamma(39) and their children Jerin (12) and Jewel (10). If the face of Jerin was burnt, Jewel’s neck bore injuries.

 The bodies have been taken to Kasargod General Hospital for post-mortem. The incident came to light when locals grew suspicious on seeing a car stranded for long and went near only to find the bodies of the four. Blood stains were also found at the house of the family

The incident has aroused much curiosity in the area. Investigations are in progress.
