Mangalore : People had high apprehension over negative impact in India due to open up of FDI. But it will never happen a decade back when there were private tv channels specially for news bulletin also people in print media had fear of closing up of newspaper. But it never happen. Being a developing country FDI is a well coming measure taken by Government of India.
This was the observation made by Mr. Anand K, Associate Vice President of Udayavani, Mangalore while inaugurating workshop on Impact of FDI In India organised by Shree Bharathi College Mangalore.
The secretary of Shree Bharathi Group of Institutions Shree. Y V Bhat strongly supported the government of India. Further he stated that it is very necessity in this competing world for the development.
Shree. B V Raghunandan in his key note address though no criticised the FDI police but very much analytical on the investment of foreign companies in India. Without anticipating any profit for more than 10 years. This is to be debatable he observed.
In his presidential remark Principal Dr.G.N.Bhat, observed that though it may not be negative impact that through it may disturb the relationship between the producers and retail traders influencing over social culture in general.
Convenor Smt.Sharmila.M.Rao welcomed the gathering & the other convenor Ms shamitha Shetty proposed the vote of thanks. After the inauguration ceremony two technical session were held, Dr.Anjali Ganesh, Dr.Narayana kayarkatte, Dr. T. Jayaprakash Rao , Manoj Louis , expert in the field deliberate on impact of FDI in India on various aspects.
