Mangalore : A 34 year old man was found dead inside a half constructed house at Bajpe on February 14, Thursday. His found was found smashed with a hard object and a gold chain on the body missing. Police suspect this to be a case of robbery robbery  that culminated in murder.

The killed person has been identified as Yashwanth  of Sankalateriya in Mundkur. The deceased was a barber by profession. Bajpe police said he had come to Bajpe to take part in the Mahakali festival at Kinnipadavu on Thursday.

The murder is suspected to have taken place on the night of Wednesday. A large crowd had gathered at the place on coming to know of the incident. Investigations are in progress.
