Mangalore : The ABVP which has strongly condemned the twin blasts that occurred at Hyderabad recently, organized a protest at MG Road in Mangalore on February 23, Saturday, to condemn the blasts in the strongest words possible.
The participants also held a silent prayer in memory of those killed in the blast.
Addressing the participants, Ramesh, Organizing Secretary of the state unit of the party said such disruptive blasts cause irreparable loss to several families and urged the government to initiate stringent against those responsible for such acts.
He said the Hyderabad blast would have been prevented if the government had acted swiftly after the Pune, Mumbai blasts. He sought active co-operation of the government, intelligence and security agencies to prevent such attacks in future.
Several ABVP workers took part in the protest.
