Mangalore : District BJP in-charge Pratapsinh Nayak has  urged BJP workers to vigorously campaign for the victory of the party men in the MCC elections and enlighten the voters on the achievements of the BJP rule in Mangalore.

Participating in a meeting  held at the Party office to guide the BJP candidates, he urged party workers to work towards regaining power in MCC.

He said the Mangalore electorate rejected the Congress in the 2007 elections fed up with the rampant corruption resorted to by the Congress which held the reins of power for almost 20 years.

He listed out the various achievements of the BJP rule and added 80 per cent of the main roads have been concretized.

K Monappa Bhandari,  MLC and election observer for the BJP, N Yogish Bhat, Deputy Speaker, Capt Ganesh Karnik, MLC and others were present.
