Kundapur : A young bike rider lost his life when a speeding bus hit against his two wheeler near Jalady on March 4, Monday morning. The deceased youth is Chandra (24), son of Babu of Hemmady.

The Samatha Travels bus was heading towards Kundapur while the bike too was moving in the same direction. Though Chandra was immediately admitted to Chinmayi Hospital, he could not be saved.

A case has been registered against the bus driver Gopal of Byndoor.

Kundapur traffic police are investigating the case.
