Sullia :  Lioness Nite programme was held at the Lions Seva Sadan here  on March 11, Monday under the aegis of Lions and Lioness clubs  Geetha R Shetty, Lioness District Ambassador, inaugurated the programme.

In her address, she  appreciated the various works done by the Lions and Lioness clubs in the better interests of the  society.

Padma Ranganath, Lioness President, presided over the function. Mallamma, Lecturer in KVG Engineering College, was felicitated on the occasion.

 Harini Sadashiva, District Lioness First Lady. Anitha Lasrado, Lioness Chairperson, Namitha J Shetty, Regional     President and DS Girish, Lions Club President were the chief guests.

Several Lions and Lioness office bearers were present.

The several contributions of Lioness club including a park for the BC students hostel, a balavana for Mandekolu Higher Primary School, sports equipment for the Bollaje School, scholarships for poor students were handed over on the occasion.
