Mangalore : An exciting beach cricket tournament was organised for media men  at the Panambur Beach on March 10, Sunday under the joint aegis of Media Friends and  Property Infratech Private Limited.

Media Friends led by  Rajesh from TV9 emerged winners in the event. A total of three league matches  were played between  Media Friends and Team Jogi led by Dayananda Kukkaje of Daijiworld.

The prizes were given away by  Rohan Monteiro, Managing Director of Property Infratech Private Ltd.  The first prize consisted of a trophy and Rs 11,000 in cash. The total cash which they got stood at Rs 16,000 with chief guest Srikar Prabhu, BJP leader,  contributing Rs 5000.

Mallikarjuna, RTO, Yatish Baikampady, CEO of Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project,Anand, Associate vice-president of ‘Udayavani’, Cheluvaraj, Panambur circle inspector,  and others were present.

Hundreds witnessed the match which was played on a Sunday.
