Udupi :  ZP President Upendra Nayak has said that the Zilla Panchayat would be  initiating all possible measures to mitigate water problem this monsoon.

Presiding over the KDP review meeting held at Dr VS Acharya Auditorium at Rajathadri of Manipal on March 12, Tuesday, he said steps would be taken to supply water through tankers to villages facing water scarcity.

He said the PDOs have been instructed to prepare action plans in case the villages are facing water problems.

The ZP chief directed the taluk panchayat executive officer to  immediately issue title deeds to the  people who have applied for the same.

ZP Vice President Mamatha R Shetty, Standing Committee President Ganapathi T Sriyan, Deputy Secretary D Pranesh Rao, Chief Planning Officer Vijaykumar Shetty and others were present.
