Mangalore : Dr Amitha Prasad, Director General, Administrative Training Institute inaugurated the two-day workshop on Public Private Partnership (PPP) Issues and Challenges at the MCC Meeting Hall here on March 22, Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that Public Private Partnership model plays an important role, even though it is in the initial stage.
The workshop aims to create awareness among district level revenue officers of Bangalore and Mysore division on PPP model.
Deputy Commissioner N Prakash participated as the chief guest and briefed the benefits of the PPP model in the present day.
The topics on Enabling Environment for PPPs, Tourism Infrastructure Projects, Financing Infrastructure Projects, Financing Infrastructure Projects, Challenges For PPPs in India, Post Award Issues in PPP Contracts, Transport Infrastructure, PPPs in Urban Infrastructure will be discussed at the workshop.
Course Director B K, Raghurama Swamy, CEO of Karnataka Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation, PSN Rao, Dr V Sathyanarayana and Richard Lobo, will be the resource persons for the two day workshop.
