Mangalore : A complaint has been lodged with the Pandeshwar police stating that a youth  identified as Mohammad Ashraf (24) who had arrived in Mangalore Airport from Dubai on March 21, has gone missing.

A complaint lodged by Badruddin, uncle of Ashraf said the youth  who had been to Dubai on a visiting visa had come to Mangalore by flight on March 21. He had even telephoned his family from a coin phone booth near State Bank bus stand the same day stating he has arrived and will be going to Bangalore to meet a friend. But, he had never been to Bangalore and had not returned home.

His whereabouts are not known. Ashraf is  5’9” tall with a wheatish complexion and speaks Hindi, English  and Malayalam.

Investigations are in progress.
