Bangalore : Well known writer and academician Prof. Chandrashekar pateel or “Champa” as he popularly known has decided to join Karnataka Janatha Party under the leader ship Mr. Yeddyurappa. He met Mr. Yeddyurappa in this regard at dollars colony resident.

Later speaking to the press, he emphasised  that a strong and secular regional party is the need of the hour and KJ P full fills that criteria. I wanted Mr. Yeddyurappa  to come out of communal party and create a powerful regional party based on the principal of secularism , equal opportunities to all section of society. Which he fulfilled by the creation of KJP he opined.
