Mangalore : A warm send off was accorded  to the first batch of nine students who opted for BA Security and Detective Science at the MIFT College premises at Attavar on April 2, Tuesday MG Hegde, Academic Director, said  the Security and Detective Science graduation course is indeed a boon to students and recalled how the college which initially introduced fashion designing course, thought of introducing a first of its kind course.Today, the college is happy to produce nine graduates in Security and Detective Science, he said.

He said though there is no prescribed text books for the course, the students were provided hands on training with the help of police. He was also thankful to the police authorities for their moral support to the students.
