Mangalore : The Allahabad Court verdict Babri Masjid case will be out on September 24, Friday at 3.30 pm. hence both Hindu and Muslim leaders should respect the court’s verdict and maintain peace, said MB Puranik, VHP leader.
He was speaking at the press meet held at Press meet held at Hotel Ocean Pearl on September 20, Monday. He also said that the senior Hindu and Muslim leaders and government had taken a decision to maintain peace in the society. This will be taken care in the Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kasargod and Kodagu district.
The youths and leaders of both the religion will accept the verdict in any manner. The defeating party will not hold protest, nor the winning party will not celebrate vijayotsava, so to avoid provocative other team, he said.
Every citizen must support the district administration and police to maintain peace and avoid conducting procession and provocative speeches and create tension.
K. S. Mohammed Masood, Ex MLC said that both Hindu and Muslim leaders should respect the court’s verdict and maintain peace and resolve their differences through respectful dialogues in future.
MLA Yogish Bhat said that the government has made all attempts to maintain peace in the sensitive coastal regions, which have witnessed a lot of communal turmoil in recent years. He added that he has already spoken to Hindu and Muslim leaders about it and have agreed on the matter.
The district administration will further take legal action against any such activities taking place he said.
MLA U T Khader said that, India has best constitution in the world. The people residing in Ayodhya are living with no tension as a single family, but the people elsewhere are fighting with each other.
