Mangalore : Two nominations have been filed in DK district on April 12, Friday. Vasanth Achari of CPI(M) filed his nomination from Mangalore South at around 11.30 am. The leader arrived at the office of the election officer at MCC building along with his supporters and handed over his nomination to Srikanth Rao, the election officer.

Krishnappa Salian, also of the CPI(M) filed his nomination from Mangalore assembly constituency at the election officer’s office at DC office. Party leaders B Madhava, Krishnappa Konchady, Sunil Kumar Bajal, DYFI District President Muneer Katipalla and others were present.
