Mangalore : Nrityabharathi, a dance and music academy of Mangalore will be holding Nritya Yajna at Town Hall on April 16 as part of its silver jubilee celebrations.
Informing this to reporters, Guru Geetha Saralaya said the Nadanamamani Award Winner Lavanya Anand will perform on the occasion. A total of 90 dancers will take part in the yajna, she said adding the Yajna will be held under the guidance of Guru Geetha Saralaya and Guru Rashmi Chidananda.
The function will be inaugurated by Shanthala Prashasthi winner Ullala Mohankumar. Janamandhara Education and Cultural Academy Founder H Somashekhar will preside over the function. Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, President of Kannada Sahitya Academy Parishad, will be the chief guest. Noted actor B N Gopalakrishna Rao will be felicitated on the occasion.
