Mangalore : Congress heavy weight Mr.Ramanath Rai (Bantwal) filed his nomination on the penultimate day of filing nominations along with Mr.Moideen Bava (Mangalore north)  and Shakuntala Shetty (Puttur) for the May 5^th Karnataka assembly polls. Also seen filing nomination are from BJP Mr.Sanjiv Matandoor (Puttur) and Gulam Mohammed from JDS (Mangalore north).

After filing nomination Mr. Moideen Bava expressed his confidence in winning election handsdown in Mangalore north.

Most of the candidate arrived with the respective party workers to the filing station and even burst crackers after filing nomination. They didn’t forget to pay obeisance to their respective gods.
