Mangalore : The election publicity office of the Janata Dal(S) in Mangalore South constituency was inaugurated by Sadananda Shetty, party leader near the Hotel Maya International at Balmatta on April 20, Saturday. He later also released the election manifesto of the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Shetty said he had refrained from contesting from Mangalore South Constituency on health grounds. It may be recalled here that the state chief of the party HD Kumaraswamy had long ago announced him as the party candidate from Mangalore south.
Sadananda Shetty further said differences were common in any party and would be sorted out.
Party candidate from Mangalore South SP Changappa also spoke on the occasion. He said he had the primary membership of the party and added he can give a befitting reply to his opponents who have been accusing that he was not a member of the party.
Several party leaders including MB Sadashiva, District President, Azeez Kudroli, Sushil Noronha and several others were present .
