Kasargod : Two construction workers one Murugesh (27) and Sanghilesh (24) both from Kozhikode attempted to rape a girl co-passenger in a moving train. The incident occurred when a family from Trivendrum comprising parents and two daughters were returning from Kollur. The incident took place in Kalanadu  while train was passing through a tunnel. Taking advantage of the darkness, the accused   tried to molest and rape a minor girl.  The other passengers in the compartment apprehended the accused and handed over to the railway protection force at Kannur .  

A case has been registered in Kannur police station.
