Mangalore : State Minister for Mujrai and Ports and Udupi district minister Kota Srinivas Poojari  has said that the BJP government in the state during the past five years has implemented several welfare projects,

Speaking to reporters at the district BJP office here, he elaborated on the various projects initiated by the government including the Suvarna Bhoomi Yojana. A separate jetty would be constructed at the Malpe Fisheries Harbour, he said adding Rs 1 crore has been earmarked for tourism development at Maravanthe Beach.

 To a question as to why the BJP met with a failure in the ULB elections, he said the  public were not effectively educated on the wefare prorgammes initiated by the BJP.

BJP leaders Srikar Prabhu, Nitin Kumar, Pushpalatha and Rajagopal were  among others present on the occasion.
