Mangalore : International Christian Union Association convener of Mangalore Unit Michael Lobo said that the association members will support Christian community candidates for the assembly election.

Addressing the reporters at the press conference held at Press Club on April 30, Tuesday Lobo said that the members of the association will visit door to door campaign to Christian house and request to cast their votes to Christian candidates. He also said that they will also visit the church priests and organisation and take measures so that 100 percent Christian votes will be cast to congress candidate.

Lobo said that on the day of election, the association will bring all the Christian voters to the polling station and franchise their votes.

Today after the Church attack, Pub attack, Home Stay attack during the BJP led government rule, it is necessary for the Christian community to gain political power, hence the members will support Mangalore Congress South constituency candidate J R Lobo and teach lesson to the Hindu outfits.

The BJP’s having the fear of defeat is announcing that the defeat of Yogish Bhat is the defeat of Hindu society to attract the people votes.
