Mangalore : The Karnataka Janatha Paksha (KJP) Mangalore North Constituency candidate Ramachandra Baikampady said that KJP will emerge as victorious in the assembly election.
Addressing at the press meet held at Hotel Woodland Hall on April 30, Tuesday, he said that the people of North constituency have suffered with the bad administration of the previous leader and the government and ask for changes, hence the social service rendered by me to the fishermen community will help in getting majority of votes as they have assured.
He also said that some political leaders support the Niddodi Power Plant project in the district and they are pretending to be unaware about problem. This project will also not function like the Thadadi power project of Karwar.
Till now all the political leaders have used the fishermen community to fulfill their work and did not provide any status. But KJP will assure the fishermen community to give a status them and they have promised to support KJP, he added.
KJP leaders Kamaraj Rai, Azeez Baikampady, Hameed Kudroli, Ibahim J, Ramesh Kanchan and Gangadhar Salian were present at the press meet.
