Kundapur : In a bizarre incident, election officials with the help of police, seized a jeep and campaigning  materials like T shirts, banners, pamphlets, shawls from JDU candidate Krishna Bharathkal near Kundapur old bustand on april 30th.

Election officials found party publicity materials in the jeep without proper document when intercepted. a case has been registered in Kundapur police station for the violation of code of conduct by JDU candidate.

Later speaking to the media persons, Krishna Bharathkal  said that, it is a political vendetta by opposition parties. Everything was in order and no election code was violated by him or by his supporters. Election officials with the help of police acted in a high handed manner and he is thinking of filing complaint against two election officials for abuse of power.
