Mangalore : Panambur police have arrested two persons  on the charges of  robbing two  lorry drivers and killing one of them in the Baikampady Industrial area near Panambur recently. The arrests were made within 48 hours of the incident taking place.

Those arrested are Mohammad Sadiq (17), a resident of Krishnapur 7th Block and Rolson Rebello (20) of Kalavar. Panambur police were successful in arresting the duo just on the basis of the facial features and the red bike of the two, as per the information provided by one of the lorry drivers. Police had to  check at least one thousand red bikes  and finally arrested Rolson near Kulur Ayyappa Gudi on Friday morning. The second person was arrested on the basis of the information provided by him.

The arrests were made  under the directions of DCPs Mutturaya and Dharmaiah as per the orders of Mangalore Police Commissioner.
