Kasargod :  Fazil hailing from Kasargod and a BBM student of a college in Mangalore,  was arrested by the police after he was found to have cheated  banks through forged documents  and after opening bank accounts in fake names. He is learnt to have cheated some people and banks to the tune of Rs 3 lakhs.

The arrested Fazil (19) hails from Ulloor in Tiruvananthapuram. He manipulated the driving licence of one Abdul Zunair Muneer from Hosangady, and availed loans from banks and had even issued ad in internet stating costly mobile phones were on sale. Some people who were lured by the ad had credited cash to his account and lodged police complaint when they found that the person had cheated him.

First Muneer was arrested and Fazil was later arrested on the basis of information provided by him.
