Mangalore : The late Pally Jayaram Shetty Memorial State Level Inter District Football Tournament will be held at Nehru Maidan from May 20 to 25  under the joint auspices of the Dakshina Kannada District Football Association and  Karnataka State Football Association.

This was informed by D M Aslam- Chairman of the DK Football Association on May 17, Friday.   
 Twelve district teams from Bangalore, Kolar, Mysore, Mandya, Kodagu, Shimoga, Davangere, Hubli-Dharwad, Belgaum, Udupi, Bijapur and Dakshina Kannada will take part in this tournament-matches will held in a league cum Knockout basis.

JR Lobo, MLA of Mangalore South constituency, will inaugurate the tournament. Sadananda Shetty-Chairman, Sri Devi Education Trust will light the lamp. Y Abdulla Kunhi, Chancellor, Yenepoya University will preside over the function. PCM Kunhi, Director of Administration, Yenepoya University, Mohammed Ameen,President,Kanara Chamber of Commerce, Mahabala Marla,Corporator, M Sashidhar Hegde-Corporator, A Diwakar, Abdul Latif, Corporators, will be the chief guests.

 Mohammed Hussain Bolar, Vijay Suvarna, Anil PV and B Abdulla of the association were present at the press meet.
