Mangalore : There has been an alarming rise in Dengue cases in Mangalore in the recent past. According to Health Department sources at least ten cases of Dengue fever have been reported from the Kaprigudde area in Mangalore. The rise in Dengue cases at a time when Malaria cases too are on the rise in Mangalore.
District Health Officer has said the department has taken precautionary measures to check the spread of the disease. He further requested the public to maintain cleanliness in the surroundings of the house and give no scope for breeding of mosquitoes.
He further made an appeal to the public to go in for blood test if they contract fever.
