Mangalore : The MLA J R Lobo of Mangalore South Constituency visited Bundar Harbour to inspect the dredging work and third phase of fishing yard work on May 23, Thursday.
Lobo also discussed the problem with fishermen chief and contractors.
The contractor said that the infrastructural work of 750 meter retaining wall is going on in Bundar and soon after it completes, the dredging work will start.
Speaking to the media, Lobo said that the third phase of 63,000 meter fishing yard at Bundar and 30,000 meter height of fishing yard at Bengre worth 56.7 crore is going on from two years and the contract workers are doing their work without any pause.
He said that the residence of Bolar, Hoige Bazar and other places are facing problem, hence further he would work to give more attention to solve it.
