Udupi : The office of Udupi MLA Pramod Madhwaraj was opened at Samarthya Saudha complex near TP building on May 25, Saturday. State Urban Development Minister Vinaykumar Sorake inaugurated the office.

In his address, Sorake said he was committed to develop Udupi as a model district. He said a blueprint for the overall development of Udupi district will be prepared with the help and guidance of the Union Government.

He assured that no poor man residing in government land will be evicted and added the government would ensure steps to provide title deeds to them.

Pramod Madhwaraj, who presided over the function, said the public can visit the office with their problems and assured that the office staff  will apprise him of the problems so that solution could be found to the same.

Fr William Martis, parish priest of Udupi church, Basavaraj, former MLA, B Rajesh Shetty, Brahmavar Block Congress President, Amrith Shenoy, Youth Congress leader and others were present.
