Udupi : A politician can be sincere and honest when he realizes that politics is meant to serve the public, said Jayaprakash Hegde, MP of Udupi Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency.

Addressing a meeting of party workers  organised by Udupi Block Congress Committee at Hotel Kidiyoor Hall on May 28, Tuesday, to thank the voters, Hegde said it is hard to find honest politicians in the recent times.A person who considers politics as a profession can never be sincere. He urged all  newly elected representatives to sincerely work for the welfare of people of their constituency.

On this occasion Udupi’s newly elect MLA Pramod Madhwaraj and his wife Supriya were felicitated on behalf of the Udupi Block Congress and the elected representatives of Udupi CMC.

In his address, Pramod said he would strive his level best to live upto the expectations of the people.
