Mangalore : JR Lobo, recently elected MLA of Mangalore South is visiting flood effected areas like Pumpwell, Ujjodi, Mangaladevi and Morgansgate along with other Congress members.

The main reason for the artificial flood in this areas is the dumping of construction materials like gravels and rocks  into the drains by contractors. He warned the builders to clear the area immediately. He directed the officials of Mangalore City Corporation to pursue the matter. He also visited sites of landslides and damaged houses in and around Mangalore city.

Also present were TK Sudhir secretary, district Congress comity, Praveen Chandra Alva, Dennis D’silva, Asha Gratta D’Silva, Alvin D’Silva, Kruthin Kumar and others.
