Mangalore : The  Control Room set up at MCC office in Mangalore to help public in times of monsoon related eventualities, saw the surprise visit of the DC on June 3, Monday.

Deputy Commissioner N Prakash urged officials of the Control Room to work with dedication and submit an action taken report on the complaints, to the MCC commissioner on a daily basis.

HE also stated that  there should be better co-ordination between the authorities and the control room staff cannot sit silent just by passing on the complaints to the authorities concerned.

He said  he would make a site visit in order to ensure regular disposal of garbage in various localities of the city.

The DC also stated that the bills of those contractors who completed works on time should be cleared.
