Mangalore : A large number of Hajj Pilgrims of Dakshina Kannada District, who will be traveling on the Hajj pilgrimage in this present year, were vaccinated at the vaccination camp held at Yenepoya Hospital, Kodialbail on September 27, Monday.
Around 200 Hajj pilgrims of the district got vaccinated before 2 pm in the camp and it continued till 4:30 pm.
According to the Wakf board around 520 pilgrims were supposed to get vaccinated at the camp.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, said that the state government is making all the necessary measures and arrangements to have a smooth Hajj pilgrimage.
This year, Hajj camp in Mangalore will provide a direct flight for the pilgrims of coastal district to Jeddah.
Mayor Rajani Dugganna and Y Abdullah Kunhi, Chancellor of Yenepoya were present.
