Kundapur : In a tragic incident, Aravind Padiyar, head of formulation development (pharma) at Himalaya Drug Company and son of Dr S N Padiyar, founder of Seva Sangama Trust and Tekkatte Vidyagiri Seva Sangama Vidyakendra, died in a  road accident at Chennarayapatna. The bus in which Aravind (44) was travelling to Uppunda from Bangalore was hit by a truck killing Aravind, the bus driver Rajendra and truc driver manjunath.

Aravind was scheduled to attend a family function  on June 5. He has left behind his parents, wife, son and daughter. Aravind who did his MPharma had served several renowned pharma companies before joining Himalaya Drug Company. He had studied in the Birla Institte of Technology and Science.
