Puttur : KJP leader and former minister Shobha Karandlaje has put an end to all speculations by stating that so far there has been no talks regarding merger of KJP with BJP or of any understanding between the two parties.
Speaking to reporters after visiting Puttur Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple on June 5, Wednesday, she said she has not met any Sangh Parivar leader as she was on a north India tour. Dubbing the reports in this regard as political gossips, she said the BJP and its selfish leaders have been taught a lesson by the voters in the assembly elections. The people will also teach a lesson to the BJP in the Lok Sabha polls, she said.
Shobha further stated that the people of Karnataka will never forgive the BJP for ousting Yeddyurappa who had fought for the party for four decades. She said the KJP was in no way responsible for some media reports that there have been talks with regard to merger of KJP with BJP.
