Restrictions on Heavy Duty Vehicles at Kankanady.

In view of DC V. Ponnuraj’s orders, there was a total ban on vehicles on June 20, Sunday. The trucks and heavy duty vehicles were diverted by police at Kankanady Circle on NH 48 and NH 17. only ambulances, fire engines and emergency vehicles were permitted to pass.
Heavy vehicles are banned from Highways till November 15, in view of damage done to the roads by them in rainy season.
People had a tough time to arrange transportation to reach their destination, while heavy vehicles were ported on both sides of NH 17and 48.
