Mangalore : Dakshina Kannada Deputy  Commissioner N Prakash  visited the KMC Hospital at Attavar on June 12, Wednesday following information that a number of Dengue patients are admitted there.

He enquired the condition of the patients and also the treatment provided to them. Of the seven patients admitted, two have been discharged. Dr Madhusudan Upadhya, Medical Superintendent said  three patients were from Kanhangad and Neeleshwar and two others from Puttur and Sullia. He said the hospital  is fully equipped to handle such cases and that the best treatment is provided.
