Mangalore : NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist Ronald Colaco launched the Konkani Museum project of Mandd Sobhann by unveiling the logo at a ceremony held at Ocean Pearl on June 15, Saturday.
James Mendonca, President of Mangalore Konkans, Dubai released the project brochure.
Speaking on the occasion, Ronald Colaco appreciated the role of Mandd Sobhann in taking Konkani language to greater heights. He said Mandd Sobhann has done the right thing by embarking upon the Konkani Museum Project.

MLA J R Lobo said the Konkani museum project when completed will be a boost to tourism.
Ramanatha Rai, District in-charge Minister, was also present on the occasion.
Eric Ozario, Gurkar of Mandd Sobhann said the Konkani Museum Project will be initiated at a cost of Rs 30 crores. He said there are plans to complete and inaugurate the museum by 2016 when Mandd Sobhann completes 30 years.
Ashok Mendonca, architect of the project,Stany Alvares, Irene Rebello, Secretary of Mandd Sobhann and others were present.
