Bangalore : CM Yeddyurappa said in Bangalore today that the state government had declared as on Sept.30 and Oct.1, holidays to Schools and Colleges, in view of Ayodhya Land Title verdict.
The govt offices will work as usual, the CM clarified. There will be ban order for 3 days in Bangalore, Home Minister R. Ashoka informed in this context. The ban will be in force (under section 144) from the morning of Sept.30 (Thursday) until Oct.2 (Saturday).
All over the state, heavy police bandobust has been ordered, the Home Minister has explained, as verdict is coming out at 3.30 pm on Sept.30 (tomorrow).
All citizens are requested to maintain public peace. Police officers have been asked to maintain vigil in sensitive areas of the city and in each district of the state.
