Kasargod : A lorry carrying ganja was intercepted by the Vidyanagar police on suspicion on June 18, Tuesday. Though the three persons including the driver escaped the police could manage to seize 77.5 kg of ganja, a cash of Rs 25000, mobile phone and ATM from the lorry.
It is suspected that the ganja was smuggled from The police found the ganja stacked in sacks inside the lorry. The three who gave the cops a slip have been identified as Abdul Salam, Abdul Rahiman and Gangadhar. The Vidyanagar police have registered a case and are on the look out for the trio.
