Belthangady : KJP President and former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa has said that the KJP will have to inevitably forge alliance with any other party in the coming Lok Sabha election as it is not capable of contesting independently.
Speaking to reporters at the Dharmasthala Shanthivana Nature Treatment Hospital on June 22, Saturday, the former CM said the KJP has the interests of the nation uppermost in mind. He admitted that the part y could not give a good show during the recent assembly elections.
On Narendra Modi chosen as BJP Publicity Committee Chairman, Yeddyurappa said it was not proper on the part of Nitish Kumar to oppose the same.
On the statement of Dhananjaya Kumar that raked up a controversy, Yeddyurappa said the former had made such a statement without discussing with the party and added steps would be taken to see that such things did not recur.
