Mangalore: State minister for health and family welfare UT Khader inaugurated a medical equipment Expo and healthcare-2013 show at Dr TMA Pai convention hall on MG road in Mangalore on Dec.16, to run for 3 days up to Dec.18. Speaking on the occasion Khader said the state Health Scheme applicable to every family whether APL or BPL on equal basis and Universal Application has been appreciated by World Health Organisation in Geneva, where Khader has been invited to explained the features of his universally propose health care arrangements
He also referred to health insurance scheme to help every family in the state and already two hospitals in Bangalore have been adopted to implement such a health insurance scheme for industrial and other workers. He was happy to go through the Expo and find that most modern equipments and medical systems of cure were available on the coastal belt of Mangalore and Udupi. He congratulated the organisors of the show, who had updated the medical; equipment’s and healthcare systems to soot a medically aware twin district area such as Mangalo9re and Udupi. He hoped the Govt. medical care facility will soon catch up with the private Medicare arrangements already available in the city in private sector.
R. Rajesh convener of the Expo told the audience that 58 medical companies had come forward to show their most modern medical equipment and systems in the Expo. He added that this equipment related to operation theater, beds of patients, scanning systems and such other medical facilities. He explained that scientific discussions and panel sittings of doctors and medical personnel will be held during the 3 day Expo in port city.
