Mangaluru : A Bullet bike rammed into a woman while crossing the road at Adyarkatte here on Monday September 14.

The deceased has been identified as Malathi (48), a resident of Alape Padil.

It is said, the woman Malathi was crossing the road after getting down from a bus, when a Bullet bike being ridden by a person identified as Wilfred rammed into her, causing her serious injuries.

Wilfred was riding from Farangipete towards Mangaluru. Wilfred and his wife who was sitting pillion sustained injuries.

Malathi was rushed to hospital, but could not be saved. Kankanady police arrived at the spot and registered a case.
