Kasargod : A car was crushed under a lorry in a road accident at Kasargod-Kanhangad highway on Friday, September 21.

A lorry driver lost control and hit an electric pole and fell over a car. The car driver Khaleel got trapped inside the car.

After an hour-long operation by the fire squad and the locals car driver was rescued. The lorry driver was also rescued in unconscious condition.

The injured driver has been shifted to nearby private hospital. The lorry was lifted with the help of a crane.

Kasargod Town police registered a case.
