Mangalore: A Hydraulic Car Parking Technology may be the best and ideal option in the future days when parking becomes a major problem for vehicles. Students of the Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE) from Moodbidri have thus developed a Hydraulic car technology keeping in mind future requirements.
The technology helps parking of the car between two cars using minimum space. The car can be lifted in and out of the available space when its small hydraulic tyres are lifted. The vehicle can also be moved in any direction depending on the available parking space.
The technology has been developed by mechanical engineering students R P Satyajeeth, Sachin Shenoy, Prathap P Shenoy and Santhosh Shetty under the project titled ‘Design and fabrication of parking enabled device for car.’ They developed the hydraulic car under the guidance of N Venkatesh, Associate Professor.
