Ullal : In an ghastly accident, one died and another sustained grievous injuries after their motorcycle collided head on with a fish laden lorry at Kotekar, Adka on Monday, February 2.

The deceased has been identified as Shashidhar Kinya (35), carpenter by profession. He was pillion rider in a bike of his friend Gulshan, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, who was also a carpenter.

The fish lorry heading towards Kasargod from Malpe collided against their bike killing Shashidhar on the spot.

Gulshan, is fighting for his life in the hospital.

A case has been registered by Ullal Police.
