Mangalore : An autorickshaw driver turned a good Samaritan for a young bride who was distraught when the would-be-groom did not turn up for the wedding which was scheduled to take place at Kadri in Mangalore on October 28, Sunday.

The girl from Kanngudde was supposed to be given in marriage to a youth from Bondel who however did not turn up.

Meanwhile, an autorickshaw driver who was known to the girl’s family, stepped in to marry the girl and  the marriage was solemnized the same evening.
